AURA CAVE 1.0 | IMMERSIVE LIGHTING
Type Immersive Lighting Team Daoxin Chen (WanderLens Lab), Zihao Zhang (WanderLens Lab), Yilun Zhan (Independent Artist) Time December 2024 - January 2025
AURA CAVE is an immersive lighting installation that blends intangible heritage with multisensory experience design. Inspired by the Five Elements in Chinese philosophy—namely Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water—the installation features five distinct lighting experiences, with a unique form of interaction. Visitors are invited to sit in a tent-like structure and use interactive tools to manipulate the projected lighting.
It offers a peaceful retreat from the noise and pace of urban life, inviting visitors into a space for healing and reflection. Through the fusion of projected lighting and ambient natural soundscape, the installation creates a meditative environment—a space to recharge, reconnect with inner calm through a multisensory journey.
